Yes, sometimes it is necessary to visit patients at home. The cost of a home visit has to include travel time so this does increase the cost of the treatment. Please telephone us for more details. -
Do I need a doctor’s referral to have treatment?
You only need a doctor’s referral if you have private medical insurance and your policy requires it. -
I have private medical insurance, am I covered with you?
Not all insurance companies cover physiotherapy so this will need to be checked prior to commencing treatment and some also require a referral from your doctor. If your policy does cover physiotherapy there may be an excess which will need to be paid by yourselves prior to claiming treatment costs from your insurance company. -
What are your payment terms?
Payment is requested at the end of every treatment session unless we are taking payment directly from your insurance company. Payment can be made by cheque, cash or by card. -
Do you have car parking at the practice?
Yes, there is free customer car parking at the front of the Wimborne Physiotherapy clinic.
